FAQs

A person with a Bachelor of Science in physiotherapy can do surgery?

No, because of their non-invasive methods like physical therapy, rehabilitation exercises, etc., students who complete the BSc in Physiotherapy program are not allowed to do surgery.

Does BSC physiotherapy require NEET?

Students who secured a minimum of 40% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology marks in the 10+2 exam with the Merit ranking will be given based on PCB are eligible for this course. NEET is not required to study this course. 

Is Physiotherapy harder than nursing?

Physio is significantly more difficult than nursing in terms of degree and placement. But nurses do a huge variety of procedures/work on patients that require a skill set not covered in the 3-year degree.
