CyStar: A new cybersecurity center was launched by the IIT Madras to enhance abecedarian and AI exploration. It is a new cybersecurity center launched by the IIT Madras to advance the colorful knowledge in the field of blockchain technology, security for AI Models, Cryptography, Quantum security, and IoT security. The main idea for launching this new cyber security center is to enhance the abecedarian AI or applied exploration, which will lead to invention in the nation. 

The CyStar “ Centre for Cybersecurity, Trust and Reliability’ was initiated in the existence of Prof V Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras, Centre fellow Prof Shweta Agrawal, Prof Chester Rebeiro, and Prof John Augustine, faculty, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Madras and a host of academicians and assiduity representatives from India and abroad. 

While initiating the CyStar Prof V Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras made some words “ With the growth of cyber pitfalls, not just for fiscal gains but also targeted sector-wise attacks on critical structure, we must get at visionary cyber defense mechanisms to secure our Nation. In this action, similar sweats are extremely pivotal, ” 

In the joy of the new center and enhancing the scholars' provocation, fellow Prof Shweta Agrawal said," We're happy and agitated to initiate this center, which will come together scholars with colorful moxie to study the critical problem of cybersecurity. With the multi-purpose approach, we aim to make benefactions in disciplines ranging from introductory exploration to real-world operations to enhancing launch-ups and everything in between. 

On the honor of Director and fellow, CyStar fellow Prof John Augustine, “ India is a belligerent nation with a huge number of largely distributed social and business networks with different security docket. The vision is to empower scholars in this ecosystem to secure their lives and businesses through platforms that are designed with security, trust, and trustability in mind ”. 

Said CyStar fellow Prof. Chester Rebeiro “ The end of CyStar is to address critical cyber security problems in the nation through abecedarian and AI exploration, outreach courses, and by enhancing the assiduity- academia connections ” 

It'll develop a comprehensive, multi-faceted strategy to address the arising cybersecurity problems driven by Applied exploration. It'll concentrate on securing problematic public structures, furnishing a holistic defense against these advanced technological pitfalls. It'll also aspire to make a knowledge and invention ecosystem where assiduity leaders, scholars, and government centers can come up with state-of-the-art technology to integrate and apply advancements in knowledge to real-time courses.
