Step 2. Navigate and click the 'New Registration' link on the homepage

Step 4: Generate a New Log ID and Password

Registration fees, cancellation of admission, and refund of fees

  • The Registration fee for IGNOU is non-refundable.
  • The registration fees will be reimbursed before entrance confirmation.
  • If a cancellation request is received after the confirmation of admission, an amount equal to 15% of the program price, subject to a maximum of Rs.2,000/-, will be taken from the money paid.
  • If a student chooses a soft copy of the study materials, the amount paid will be repaid after subtracting just the registration charge.
  • If a cancellation request is received from a student who has received a fee exemption and has paid only the Registration and Development fees, only the Development charge will be reimbursed.
  • There will be no fee refunds after 60 days from the admission's closing date.
