ITEP Program Course Details
As per the notification of 26 October 2021, ITEP is a 4-year dual bachelor degree program offering different specializations BA BEd/ BSc B Ed, and BCom BEd. This integrated program will prepare candidates into teachers for tomorrow throughout the program duration of the new school structure which is Foundational, Preparatory, Middle, and Secondary (5+3+3+4).
Eligibility for the ITEP Program
The four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) can be pursued to make teaching a career option for students after completing their secondary. ITEP could be an included career program that will lend giant opportunities to complete the program in 4 years and save 1 year. The duration of the regular program is 5 years, in keeping with the present BEd plan.
ITEP (Integrated Teacher Education Programme) is touted to be a foundation and an important step in the direction of reaching the primary mandates and goals of the Advanced National Education Policy of 2020.
